I am Alek Hyra, a 21 year old male, living in Springfield, Virginia. I have many sakes for wishing to be castrated. As I have read more about castration, I have come to believe more strongly that it is the right thing to do for many sakes.
I hate the feeling and sight of the hair that has grown out all over my body since puberty, most of all my beard. I have attempted to remove my beard by shaving, plucking with four different tools, waxing, mechanical epilation, and laser epilation. None of these have been effective. I have hated my androgenic hair for more than three years now.
I think that my sexual identity and body image is as a sexually immature male or eunuch. I sometimes feel ashamed of emissions of semen and feel that it may interfere with friendships I would like to have (more on this later). I have been thinking of being castrated for more than a year and a half. I have taken genistein soy complex pills, fasted, prayed, and meditated to reduce my androgens. These have not been satisfactorily effective. I have spoken of this to my psychiatrist, psychologist, and primary care doctor. I have been asking for antiandrogens but do not have them yet. I am also seeking out someone who can do orchiectomy.
My feelings of sorrow with my body are distracting me from other things in my life right now, and I think I can do more in life having these distractions removed by castration.
I have read that castrated males live as much as 14 years longer than other men in an article in Scientific American, even though they have higher rates of obesity. I have a tendency to anorexia, so I think that it might be good for me to have more fat. My father has male baldness and prostate overgrowth, and I would like to prevent these things from befalling me. Castration also prevents expensive and deadly testicular and prostate cancer and may reduce body odor.
I understand that orchiectomy will make me permanently sterile. Considering the state of the human population and the millions of uncared or undercared children in the world, I believe that this permanent and most effective contraceptive procedure is morally right. If scientists wish to use my genes they may freeze my testicles and/or some of my hair.
I also understand that castration will make me incapable of having sex and difficult to have erections without androgen supplements. Side effects may include hot flashes, breast growth, weight gain (possibly desirable), muscle loss, and osteoporosis (curable by calcitriol). I understand that orchiectomy is an irreversible procedure.
I sometimes wish to have non-sexual friendships with women. Although eunuchs are incapable of sex, they may make love in other ways such as hugging, kissing, or cuddling. Some women are attracted to eunuchs because eunuchs are less possessive and do not cause pregnancy. Like me, some women prefer not to have sex. The wish for sex causes men to lie, coerce partners, sometimes act violently, and commit sundry sins. I am so frightened of being involved in these sins that I choose to have no dealings with women now.
I feel that castration is the right decision for me. I know that I will lose some things, but I think what I will find is worth more. Freedom includes the right to make decisions I may regret later.

Re: why I wish to be castrated
While you seem to have thought this out, the best thing would be to do a " test run" with chemical castration to see if you really want to live without testosterone in your body. Perhaps you should talk to the many real eunuchs on here.. including those who were castrated at a young age .. their experience might inform your decision. You should also be very wary of soliciting an illegal procedure.. It is usually not permitted here on the eunuch archives since that is dangerous, illegal or both

Also, if it's facial hair that bothers you, you should be aware of the fact that it needn't vanish or even become reduced after castration.

Alek, Listen to the Milkman, do a test run with chemical castration. If you like it the effects, then pursue physical castration, if not, you won't have any regrets. At your age you don't want to mess up your life by doing something that you'll regret forever. Please listen to some old eunuchs.
