Getting needles for IM injections

Hi everyone,

I've got another consignment of Farlutal coming in the post from Goldpharma, and unlike DP they don't come in pre-filled needles but in vials and the syringes have to be filled from them. Last time, Goldpharma sent me some needles on request (they only sent two syringes and two needles, when for two vials, it should be two syringes and four needles), but I don't think they will do that again. How do I go about getting needles for making up the syringe and injecting? I presume I should ask a pharmacist, but what should I ask them? (I'm in the UK.)

I know that Boots the chemist does a needle exchange in my area in London it will also give the safe disposal container for used needles no questions asked just ask the pharmacist if they do the needle exchange not all the Boots do it, you can also google needle exchange in your area many councils offer free needle exchange services and disposal no questions asked, they would rather people use clean needles these days if they need them and dispose of them safely.

I use a UK site I can pm on request if it's allowed here. They were prompt and they're all sealed. I can't verify hygiene or quality standards but I personally haven't had a problem yet after dozens of injections.

I should post an update: I eventually got the needles and syringes I needed from Mediquip (http://www.mediquip.co.uk/shop/show.php?q=needles), and you don't need to order them in bulk - I ordered five syringes and ten needles and paid less than £5 for the whole thing including P&P.

I wouldn't recommend using a needle exchange. I went into a chemist that functions as an exchange in my home town, and the guy expected me to fill in a form before he would give me any. He said he didn't know me - I didn't want him to, thank you very much. I know, I had to supply my name and address to Mediquip, but that chemist was in my home borough and I don't fancy being on some kind of local junkie register.

You surprise me, maybe different areas have different rules, i know from my own experience Boots in London only require your age and postcode, easily made up, no id is needed and no questions and no form filling asked, they even ask what size you need 2.5 or 5 ml.
