Me and my patriotism!

Post by luvpain (imported) »

Well considering a few comments I have gotten from a few people in the chatroom I decided to show off my new tattoo for all to enjoy.

Plus it should let people know where I stand :) you don't want to start pissing me or any of the other chatroom operators of by starting a Political debate, and not SHUTTING UP after being asked to.

-- FROM BBOY --

No personal attacks on other users, even in this forum, especially by a moderator.

--------------------

If I eject someone from the chat it is for a good reason, and most of the time is only done for a day. When you want to start picking a fight with me afterwards you are not going to win and just making things worse for yourself.

Political discussions (except as they mey relate the the legality or availability of castration) are off topic in the chat room for any persons in the main chat rooms including room moderators.

Room moderators are there to keep the room free of flame wars and kicking participants who are trolls, minors, or who are encouraging life threatening or illegal activities.

Those are the official guidelines of the Archive and will be enforced by Paolo, talula, and myself.

That was the whole reason Balljack/ballsoff was ejected from the main chat room last Wednesday night. I try and avoid any heated debate or discussion from the main room. I hate getting into any debates especially political ones, as it puts me in a bad mood :realpisse and usually causes others to leave chat.

If someone wants to start a debate, or start flaming people over their mods or desires, they will usually be asked to stop by a room moderator, before being ejected. Continuing on after being warned, or debating/insulting the moderator over the warning will VERY LIKELY get you ejected.

Now this whole issue with Balljack/ballsoff was started over him wanting to start a political debate, and flaming me for wanting to get the above tattoo, after describing it to a few people that had asked.

The room moderators spend a lot of time trying to help users out, and make sure things are running correctly in the room. I do my best to be fair but personal attacks on me or my interests in modifications will push my buttons the wrong way. I don't need that type of grief while in the chat rooms from users calling me unfair, or not listening to my usually positive statement to "Cease and Desist"

Well I'll end my rant for now.

The standard for ejecting someone from a chatroom should be very high.

Being a minor or acting as though you cut minors for real will get you banned immediately.

that are a danger to the continuation of the chat room and the Archive will get you banned after a warning.

Being off topic, rude, or otherwise disrupting the room will get you bumped after a sufficient number of warnings so that it's obvious that you are ignoring the rules.

Moderators are there to help people, and make sure the chat runs smoothly; they are not there to control content beyond the scope of the rules discussed above not are bans a matter of personality or pissing matches.

These are the rules as all parties involved including the Moderators have agreed to.

I am in love with that tattoo, luvpain!! It's wonderful, and a true sign of your devotion to this country. And also, I agree with the rest about not starting political debates in chatrooms not having to deal with that topic. Rudeness is the worst. One time on AOL they had that in a goth chat..man everyone was kicked off.
