How do you start a new thread on the political forum?
I have tried. Nothing seems to happen. I don't seen new threads from anybody else, either, so I guess that it's not just me...

Oh. I see. So do the threads that you wish to start stay in a hopper until approved? Or, put another way, how do we submit them?

There are other forums with threads that have MODERATOR approval.
You create the first post as usual and then wait for it to appear when the moderator approves it.
IT could be minutes to a day or two.

Thanks, Dave. I took the liberty of posting some budgetary material sources from the U.S. government on this board so that people might familiarize themselves with the funding...

It's like "The Price is Right" you submit it then beg
"Oh Mighty moderator please show my post"
"Oh Mighty moderator please show my post"

You make the post and wait for Riverwind to approve it.
Then you wait.
Then you go on about your day.
Check back the next day.
The forum is moderated now, and once you're that old, your comprehension of time isn't the same as the rest of us.

Are "replies" also requiring moderator approval?
Re: How do you start a new thread on the political forum?
I'm not sure, but I can fix it so that they are.

The replies seem to be flowing less hindered.

Then what kinds of posts (threads) are acceptable and unacceptable?
