Do testicles have also another function than producing testosterone and sperm?

Post by Peter47-NL (imported) »

I ask myself, are the production of sperm and testosterone the only functions of the testicles or are there some other functions that I don't know. Can someone say anything about this? I don't need my testicles for the production of sperm and my T-level has already been below the normal level for my age. My testicles seem rather useless to me, but I wonder if there might be an other, for me unknown function that get lost by a castration.

Testicles have also some visual effects too too. As their absence has.

Passive photon emission technology :)

According to a friend who is a urologist , there are 4 blood enzymes that are made in the testicles. The 4 are not present in castratec men at all. He is currently working on a study to prove that the elevation of the level of one of these enzymes is actually the trigger for prostate cancer, not testosterone. None of the four enzymes are something that must be in the blood to live, so the testicles are NOT required.

I'm sure you haven't forgotten the need to reproduce to maintain the human race. Testicles are not required after the requisite 1 or 2 offspring per couple. Sorry to be a picky nerd about this. I feel like the grammar scolds we all know.

You really mean the emission of photons and not the reflexion of light that we get in our eyes?

Nor the view I had last weekend in the train: an artistic young man, musician, sitting in front of me with a manly body smell and some tight pants on that showed of clearly his balls behind the fabric, which was an effect that I liked?

Thanks Raymar. This is an answer I hoped for.

Yes and I felt bad typing it but I couldn't resist being slightly naughty and winking at the obvious.

And no, I don't speak Dutch but I can do translations and although GOOGLE said "This is a bit bland" which didn't sound quite proper as the translation.

I think you meant more:

Het is een beetje flauw om te zeggen dat het niet om een akkoord gaat.

Which is:

It is disingenuous to try to claim that it is not an agreement.

in English.

You made me smile and so did Raymar.

That is exactly PASSIVE photon emission. You may call it light reflection. :)

In really seriously cold weather I was always taught to stick my hands down my pants and grasp my testicles to avoid frostbite. Men in the service are taught this as are cowboys out riding a fence line in a blizzard. It's actually good advice and is another use for testicles.

I guess that means I cannot be in the service or be a cowboy out riding a fence line in a blizzard.
