An Excellent Anime Series About Transsexualism

I just found this series about a month ago, and I thought others might be interested in knowing about it too.

The name of the series is "Hourou Musuko," or "Wandering Son," and is basically a slice-of-life type of series centering on two middle-school friends, one a boy who wants to be a girl, and the other a girl who wants to be a boy. It focuses on the confusion that they face, the misunderstandings from family and peers, some of the social stigma attached, and other unrelated middle-schooly things like growing up, going through puberty, and school.

This series hit really close to home for me, and it was also a great story, so I highly recommend it to those who are looking for a tastefully-done TV series on the topic.
