God, I finally had the patience to watch pirahna 3d and the only scene that made me laugh was the severed penis being devoured by the pirahnas.

qoute = "Jake he took my penis!!!!!".....XD

Rest of death scenes seemed ok but they werent thrilling.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A classical thrill for me as a kid was watching the old film Papillon. where this dude gets sent to a french guiyana prison. The guillote scene gave me nightmares every time.

Best Death Scene? oh lord no. That movie can pass as soft porn for the heavy breather set... I wonder how many copies of that pile of hop-hah have been word out by peeping toms and flashers in the darkness while j... (well never mind)...

Sirius Black in Harry Potter has a good death scene. Gary Oldman is a great actor.

Hamlet dies in a spectacular scene.

Romeo and Juliet always brings me to tears (but Shakespeare is genius and its his dialog that does it)

When Lady Kaede dies at the hands of Kurogane in RAN, we cheer. She deserved to die.

Piranha 3D sets up that death in such a cheesy way. Sorry about crapping all over it.

I admit it is funny and the audience enjoys it.

I thought this thread was about a gunfight like Harmonica and Frank in "Once Upon a Time in the West." Now that was a gunfight.

Please take this in the fun it was intended.

haha this thread is for ranting and tossing in some awesome gruesome but suspensful gory scenes. often i go to movies yet am always dissapointed in not being shocked. I miss classical films bc of this. why is it that the modern day films have such a hard time of bringing that level of shock back into my system. Have I just simply grown too de-sensitized to care anymore?

NB = If you got some films with awesome suspensful yet shocking scenes name them.

Saw isn't one of them. Oh dear god no. completely predictable

WAIT UNTIL DARK -- when only the refrigerator light illuminates the scene...

That movie scares.

I like the ghost ship death scene where everyone gets sliced in half in masses by a mast wire

Because I was the right age to appreciate this film when it came out, this scene sticks in my mind as one of the better death scenes.

If you don't find something in the movie The Princess Bride to like, then you are a harder man than I.

It certainly deserves to be up there with the greatest movie deaths of all time.

Inigo Montoya: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

[Inigo advances on Rugen, but stumbles into the table with sudden pain. Rugen attacks, but Inigo parries and rises to his feet again]

Inigo Montoya: Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

[Rugen attacks again, Inigo parries more fiercely, gaining strength]

Inigo Montoya: Hello! My name is Inigo Montoya! You killed my father! Prepare to die!

Count Rugen: Stop saying that!

[Rugen attacks, twice. Inigo avoids and wounds Rugen in both shoulders, the same spots where he wounded Inigo. Inigo attacks, bellowing:]

Inigo Montoya: HELLO! MY NAME IS INIGO MONTOYA! YOU KILLED MY FATHER! PREPARE TO DIE!

[Inigo corners Count Rugen, knocks his sword aside, and slashes his cheek, giving him a scar just like Inigo's]

Inigo Montoya: Offer me money.

Count Rugen: Yes!

Inigo Montoya: Power, too, promise me that.

[He slashes his other cheek]

Count Rugen: All that I have and more. Please...

Inigo Montoya: Offer me anything I ask for.

Count Rugen: Anything you want...

[Rugen knocks Inigo's sword aside and lunges. But Inigo traps his arm and aims his sword at Rugen's stomach]

Inigo Montoya: I want my father back, you son of a bitch!

[He runs Count Rugen through and shoves him back against the table. Rugen falls to the floor, dead]

Bambi's mother.

We didn't have to see it but it left us all a scar since childhood.

True?

Moi

Uncle Walt did it to me. :(
