Internet TV - Now More Then Before

Post by moi621 (imported) »

I am a computer idiot.

( )0( )

I am smart enough to have my flatscreen connected to a computer.

All flat screens have a PC port. Newer flat screens or 'puters can cross connect with an HDMI connector.

Tell the input of the flatscreen to look at the computer port and voila

Internet TV on the TV. FREE stuff you would have to pay for on a dedicated TV channel. Some in HD.

Recently I have shared some links to some movies for FREE.

Anyone got anything to share. Lots of the old indexes like Surf-The-Web are not so good no more.

Moi

There are even FREE LFL games on the Web, $14.99 on pay-per-view

You do have a point, as digital broadcast TV (very important in rural areas) is now a sick joke that doesn't work at all.

Of course, many of these areas probably don't have high speed 'net, either.

I pay for 1.5 Gig on Internet, but I seldom get it. I can't stream live media above 360p.

one problem with TV here in canada is the crap we get for entertainment through netflix and other streaming services, that and the fact we have a stupid cap on our bandwidth no thanks to the CRTC especially the newly passed bill C11. (Fuck you harper.....fucking brown noser for private corporate special interest groups 🍰)

And on top of that we pay one of the highest fees for cell phone plans it's ridiculous. I mean come on 3yr plan is pretty shitty to me. And to opt out from one is even worse

Yet people put up with this crap here. I will never understand people and why they won't fight against unwanted bills and privateer's.

If you really want to have a sweet experience Moi join private bittorent websites and share bandwidth and especially join "Usenet" to truly experience movies, tv shows like never before. Be sure to get a really really big harddrive to store all those flicks. Mhmmmm......now see that's what I'm talking about. A large personal database of new and old shows. And boy is it cheap to get storage these days. Just format those harddrives with a good linux filesystem aka EXT4 and yer good to go. and leave your PC seeding with encryption enabled hehe.

Everyone can learn moi, my grandmother torrents all the time LOL cuz I taught her and shes addicted to it. It's almost as bad as her addiction to those play per points online slot machines. she'll spend hours on it.

NB = Now if I can only get her to play guild wars 2 and get her started on steam. Now that would be an added bonus.

Usenet just isn't what it used to be, though. There are a still a few furiously busy groups, but they're so busy you can't even keep with headers.

That, and you have to find a service to pay to use it now.

Thanks foxy

I need a hands on lesson.

I find the pirated uploaded movies for free are just not on the web anymore.

In the good old days, one might watch Lincoln for free, at home by now.

:)

Links please 😄

yer using shitty pirate bay. Too many leechers vs seeders ratio(downloaders vs uploaders).

That and government intervention is cracking down hard on torrent sites. Gawd I miss demonoid and sadly since i rarely used the private tracker "iptorrents" I was booted out. such is the nature of private trackers. You don't pitch in for bandwith by allowing others to download from you, leave your torrents up running for days undisturbed, you get banned.

Even searching on google for torrents is hard. it seems google is placing all torrent search links at the very end of the list

good luck trying to get an invitation for the site "torrent leech". Unless you got connections with heavy IRC overlords then forget it. Then theres "tor". Which leads way to the "darkweb".

I don't even know much about it but apparently its the part of the web that's invisible to the reg domains and is a bigger sea of unknown, even by google.

A while back I mentioned that a darkwebsite known as the "silkroad" lurked behind the scenes and was and i believe still is succesful at selling illegal drugs of all kinds (the bad one's too) with the encrypted bitcoin currency.

I think here's where you also find your pedophiles too. I don't think the darkweb is invincible to the authorities or government agencies but it is difficult to crack the code on illegal activity since the ip, dns and internet protocols shift values consistently.

Foxy

I hope you were not writing for my benefit because it has way to much Greek ;) for my comprehension.

I take it the easy links for pirated movies are gone with the wind.

Best Wishes & Thanks
