First, great job here, especially putting up with the many wise-asses (like self-confessed ones like CB here).

If someone gave me a ten, I would smile, but I would cry if I got a one, so maybe I don't want to know.

How come all those polls always have an option for bBoy to get some special fun in the deal? Just kidding, I love this whole site and how you handle all of it, even though some of us have either more or less to handle than we used to, depending on torso or other areas more-so.

A rating system is a possibility too, but here is my question:

Would the type of story adversly affect the rating?

In other words if you were a fan of castration versus penectomy would you rate a penectomy story down?

or straight v gay?

First, don't make the rating mandatory. I would like to think that the users of this site would be adult enough not to vote if it's not their thing (i.e., me, being gay and into adults, would not be likely to vote on pueros' stories or the hetero ones, unless for whatever reason they really turned me on). You could also publish the criteria that people are supposed to rate by - grammar, formatting, plot, etc., with eroticism being only a part of it.

For instance, Waddie Greywolf's stories tend not to be too erotic (to me, anyway) due to their length, but they're well written and have strong characters and plots. Going the other way, Classy Bitch's stories tend to be short, have weird formatting and structure but can still be erotic. I write straight up wank stories. All are good stories in their own ways but they're completely different.

If you wanted to go really crazy you could put a one line comment form in there that would go straight to the author. It would be less a pain than having to message them out of the message board (yes, I know, it's not that difficult, but give me convenience or give me death, right?) and authors might get more feedback that way. Personally, I would be more likely to use that to comment on specific features of a story, like theme, or maybe to suggest that a certain character get his own story or something.
