Scrotum stretching after a bi-lateral orchiectromy

Hello!
My name is Denna and I am fairly new to these forums. I'm a transgender lady and will be having my orchiectomy on the 30th of this month. I'm pretty excited although I don't know exactly how I feel about having it done under local anesthesia. I hope the pain isn't to intense but I'm sure I'll manage. I can't believe the day is almost upon me.
I have been reading everything I can on these forums to become as educated as I can about this pre-during-post surgery. I have a question though about stretching your scrotum after. Does anyone do this? I rather like how sacks look when they are empty and I think I would like to keep mine from shriveling up, at least till I'm 100% that I'm not going to have full on GRS/SRS in the future. I doubt it but like to keep my options open.
I have been thinking that perhaps using a penis pump type device on my scrotum once it is totally healed may work. Seeing how there isn't anything to really tie to once you have your testicles out I don't think any type of bondage will work. Saline infusions don't seem like my type of thing as I don't want to be the girl with the huge sack.. Lol, that's kind of weird.
Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to give regarding this or anything else.

if you don't care for saline there are vacuum pumps for your sack. it doesn't last long but it will stretch your sack. PRoblem is you will have to do it often stay stretched. the sack is lined with muscle fibers and will return to its natural state. but like other muscles it you keep it up it will slowly stay stretched but it will take a while.

I would never use a vacuum pump on a scrotum that had had orchiectomy surgery--you'd risk causing the internal scars to rip and cause massive bleeding. If you've done much penis pumping you know how much stress it puts on the flesh, I would not risk that on a body part that had had surgery.

Hi Denna..It's a pleasure to have you amongst us...The question I have is in your assumption that, if left alone, your empty scrotum will shrivel to the point that effective SSR will be compromised...I would guess that the skin would stay elastic and actually not be much changed at all...perhaps in appearance, but I'd wager it's still as useful toward transformation into a vagina as before...Anyone here know about this? Congratulations on your scheduled orchiectomy...Please keep us informed...You sound like a delightfully astute and bright young lady..We could use more like you..smooches Jackie

Thanks Jackie! What a sweet reply ^_^
Some surgeon's will not perform SRS on you if you have had an orchi but most will from my research. The reason for keeping it stretched out (that sounds funny) is that you get a little more depth . The more I think about it the less I really care. Unlike most of the transgendered people I know I am ok with the parts that I have, minus the one that makes testosterone that isn't a brain.
Rather, I love how an empty scrotum looks and can't wait till mine is that way! I try to find pictures of them but there aren't a lot that I have been able to find.
With that said; today I started taking pictures of the way I am now as I won't have them in about a week and a half. I want some good before/after comparisons as to how I look. It's shocking how much you can change your body. I am a completely different person both physically and mentally that I was a year and a half ago. Thanks estrogen! lol.

Local should be fine. You'll feel it when it wears off though. The pain will dissipate pretty fast, over a some days rest.
IMHO: an empty scrotum may look okay on other people in photos, but when you're looking down at your own, it'sa kinda groty.

There wasn't a whole lot of pain following my orchi. I took one Vicodin ES several hours after my surgery, and another the next day, and that was it. Your tissues can be somewhat bruised and swollen from the local anesthetic. I had edema (bruising) for several days, but it resolves quickly as your circulation does its job. Wait until after your dissolvable sutures all come out, then gently massage and stretch the scar tissue daily to encourage more natural healing from the inside. It takes a few weeks, but eventually the scrotal skin will be just as thin and flexible as it ever was before surgery.
