Warning: If you have yet not read The Prince Trains a Slave, I suggest that you skip this posting, so as not to spoil the surprises that Androboy has done such a good job of creating.

Androboy,

I am re-reading The Prince Trains a Slave. I really like the way you portray the inner struggle of Eric and Simon, between their pride and the obedience/submission that we all know they will finally choose.

Bergen's forced emasculation is well done, but I found it a little bit less interesting, mainly because that topic has already been so well presented by you and others in the Archive.

I am wondering why you did not continue the series beyond the four chapters you wrote. Is it because you did such a great job in Chapter1, so that everything is a little bit downhill from there? There is so much that could still be developed: Eric's reaction during his somewhat symbolic castration, how he handles the stares in the locker room, etc.

A big fan,

peter

I don't think anything goes downhill there. The story builds up to a climax in chapter IV with Bergen's penectomy. This is, where Eric learns, what his master *can* do. And we can imagine, that this is not the limit.

This is one of my all time favorite stories and like you, I would love to learn more about Eric and Simon and their masters.

Perhaps Androboy will find the time and passion to continue this wonderful story some time.

Androboy, please?

Pretty please?

Ringlo,

On reconsideration, I agree with you. The interplay between Eric and his Master is made more interesting by the contrast with Bergen. This story cries out for further development, and I hope that Androboy eventually finds time and the inclination to continue it.

more WILL be coming, i promise. part 5 was a couple of paragraphs away from being done a while back, but the floppy disc it was stored on was damaged and the material is now gobbledygook. i will get back to it since i want to revisit those characters -- i kind of like them.

but, for right now, i am on a roll with my friends in the Tribes stories -- and most of them are my friends -- except for the bastards in the Brotherhood. well, there are a couple i have liked and a couple more coming up that i like. but for the most part i'm none too fond of them.

anyway, i'm having a ball spending time with my Tribes characters and friends, so i want to hang around with them a bit longer.

plus, paolo has been making me play hookey with his fantastic harry potter story. normally, i don't read other stories when i am writing, but this is too, too, too good. i spend hours with each installment and still want to spend more time with them. and charlieje isn't helping me keep my nose to the grindstone much, either. his stories are equally as good and distracting to me, but i love reading them.

anyway, i do promise that the Prince and his friends will be back -- one way or another.

thanks for everyone's words of praise and even more for being patient.
