Of those who have been castrated, how many have had scrotum removal as well? Could you also tell me why you had your scrotum removed?
For anyone: Do you prefer scrotum removal or keeping the empty sac?

Re: Scotum Removal
I had my scrotum removed at the same time of castration for esthetic reasons. Having an empty sac hanging around there doesn't look very nice IMHO, but YMMV.

I did not not have my scrotum removed when I had myself castrated. I thought it would shrink and not be a nuisance. However, it did not and I found it annoying. And, as my plastic surgeon said, skin does not un-grow. I then had my scrotum cut off also, and love the smooth clean look and feel...like there never was anything there.

Re: Scotum Removal
My scrotum was pretty small and tight since my testicles had not been in it for like 25 years when they were removed. I had originally thought that it would be fine as was, and that with time ti would shrink some, and I would be content with it.
I waited 4 years, and still had a sort of turkey neck when really warm, and I hated the way it looked. Had scrotoplasty in May of 2012 , and now it appears as if i never had testicles or scrotum. The surgeon did an excellent job of aligning the scar with the raphe, so that now that the scar has faded , it appears totoally natural. I love it! Both from an aesthetic point of view, and the feeling.

Re: Scotum Removal
I have had my scrotum removed. I waited 3 years for it. It did not seem to want to shrink and was a nuisance hanging there. I informed my Dr. that I did not want fake balls put in but I still had to wait. Personally, I love not having all that skin hanging there.
