Why HRT?

Post by kitchkinet18 (imported) »

I've noticed that a lot of eunuchs start out without HRT, and then eventually start. I was just wondering why. When i am eventually castrated, i plan to go without any hormones. How real is this goal? Please let me know, and as always, thanks.

Osteoporosis and heart problems might be considerations. I take the most minimal doseage of estradiol myself but only as of a few years ago. Before that as a teenager it had been suggested that I should take testosterone of which I declined.

How old were you at the age of castration, devi? What effects has the estradiol had?

Actually it wasn't too many years ago that I was finally able to get rid of them completely however they were noticeably underdeveloped since childhood which posed another type of risk and symptoms. I will always be angry at the medical establishment for brushing me off and thinking that I should be made to take T in order to have to be a manly man.

As a rule I only take testosterone part time and then in small doses. I usually feel a little better when taking hormones than I do when I am not. For me, health considerations are a small part of the reason. --FLO--

I was castrated 12/06/97 and I have never used HRT. I have no interest in letting hormones take me back to the person I did not want to be.

Tugon, has not using HRT had any negative effects. Also, what physical and emotional changes have you personally gone through as someone without HRT. Please include body changes, libido, and hot flash info. Thanks!!!

From my personal point of view as a eunuch identified neither male no female person, I love a little bit extra estrogen and balance it with a bit of tesostron, it really enanchy my sex life and the only "male" thing I enjoy, to ejaculate.

Do think more of us eunuch identified people will be more visble durinbg the years to come and not like I was, hide among transsexuals....
