Just joined here. I'm 20, but i've had interest in castration since i was 13-14. Not sure when i want to have the procedure done. Anyone have an age recommendation for castration?

I'm a caucasian, intact male, 6'2", 205lbs. I'd like to be castrated either by burdizzo or surgery. The things i look forward to most after being castrated are reduced(hopefully eliminated) libido, penile shrinkage, loss of body hair, and subcutaneous fat formation. I don't think i would mind gynacomastia either. Looking to make some new friends and hear from people on their experience and whether or not they're happy with their castration results. Welcome to the zoo. As I have often told many wannabee eunuchs/nullos, do a test run. Try chemical castration first, you're only 20. You must be absolutely sure that this is positively what you want. Living as a nullo/eunuch for the rest of your life, if you realize you made a mistake at 20, that's a long agonizing regretful amount of time. When I was 20 I did a lot of things that were stupid and regretful, maybe you're different, maybe you're not, but you've got to be careful and sure as you can be. So try chemical castration first, please!

Yes, I would suggest you to try short chemical castration. That would give you insight of your personal reactions and variety of other effects accompanying castration other than loss of libido. The earlier you try the better.

I was voluntarily and surgically castrated at age 35. I think by that time you've had long enough to think about it and make an informed decision. Most I know of that wanted it since your age that waited until 35 or so to do it have said it's the best thing they have ever done and the only regret they have is they didn't do it sooner. Getting back to Hash's comment, 20 is rather young to do it. It is better to regret having waited until you're 35 to do it than the regret you did it at 20.

I was surgically castrated in the age of 34 and I think this age is fine. I had already passed over my genes, so I was absolutely sure that I wanted to have my balls removed.
