The pain is nearly all gone

And my strength is at about 70%

Thursday afternoon

Friday afternoon

Saturday 7am till 8pm

And Sunday 7am till 12 pm

I was helping out (along with 6 other guys)

Putting a new roof on my buddies house

We had to strip the old shingles fix some soft spots and rotted spots then put new shingles on

My sweet wife was right there dropping off lunches and dinners (pizza and beer mostly)

Btw have y'all seen the picture I posted of her in that other post?

And to my surprise I was able to lift the bundles of shingles

Didnt get hurt once

And on top of that

I made 5 new friends (my buddy knew already) who know my past and don't give a crap

So glad to hear that things are going well for you. Men seem to have an issue with any kind of transgwender stuff so I am really excited for you that you made some new friends. Be careful , and don't overdo. Takes a while to recover from any surgery

congrats on making friends. where i grew up many people were accepting of anything other than what they call "normal" so i was a major loner. but i am trying to accept myself first then reveal to family, then maybe further.

Thank you both for your kind words

And yes it is usually hard to find people who don't hate you for being different

But I think the guys liked me because they could see that I was a very hard worker

And that I was an all around good person

And then when I opened up to them about my past

They didn't mind

They see me as one of the guys. Which is exactly how I see myself
