I need to let you all know that my roommate Slickotter is not doing very well. A little over a month ago, he was diagnosed with advanced stage Hodgkin's disease and has been trying to get healthy enough to fight it. Last week he developed viral pneumonia and it has knocked him down hard. I just got back from a visit, and his spirits remain pretty good given all he has had to absorb in recent weeks. He wanted me to reach out to his friends here, and I thought this post might be the best way to do that. Jesse would contact you directly if he could. To those who know him -- and those who don't alike -- please send him all your prayers and best wishes. I'll be happy to convey any messages his friends might have for him.
