eunuch not anymore, sorry...
Last week, i got some lab result from the lab. Last days have been intensely ill for me. I was tremendously sick, vomiting, unable to eat, even drink water or even sleep.
abdominal pain is something terrible to experience. I got the resulst and everything related to my liver is out of control. I got my last shot of depo-provera 10 days ago.
Inmediately, the doctor told me that was the last shot I was going to get. he also told me since i am 24 I may recover my sex drive and everything. Sorry guys, I am forced out of eunuch-dom. My boyfriend was pretty comprehensive at this topic and even now he is at my side. I still will be here posting from time to time. Now, I am drinking some medicines to regulate the liver. Thanks you to all.

As with any medication, different people can react in different ways.
My aunt, for example, nearly died from being on Lyrica (sp?) for 2 weeks. Her husband takes it with no problems. Just an example.
I do hope that you get to feeling better.

Re: eunuch not anymore, sorry...
Finally got my results from today. My liver has got better, however, libido seems to be getting back. I am again, able to eat, drink water, sleep pretty well and the doctor seems to agrre to stop my chemical castration. Also, T levels are at 160 The doctor told me my levels will stay like this for a while, and then they may rise. Last night, I got an erection, if somewhat spongy, while having sex. My hunger has decreased drastically, I have stopped eating almost totally, I am getting much much thinner, and I have started to feel extremately horny. It`s something weird to be again through this but it's much more safer than suffer again from my liver. Thanks from reading and commenting.

Did the doctor seem to think your issues were due to the depo-provera or from the lack of testosterone? If it's the depo-provera, did you like how you felt while on it before the liver issue came into it? If yes, would it now be worth pursuing a physical removal?
I'm simply thinking that if you liked the trial run without testosterone in your system it might be time to consider a physical removal of your testicles if you're otherwise healthy.

Glad to hear that you're feeling and doing better. Blowing up your liver is definitely something you don't want to do!

This is the kind of thing that can happen and that is the reason I am so adamant about people not self medicating with hormones. Many people die every year because of self medicating and not having a doctor seeing if things are ok. Glad to hear you are doing better.

Today, as I am writing this, my T levels are actually at 1000, and seems to have stopped at that. my liver has fully recovered, and my doctor told me that I will wait until december to implant an unit of zoladex 3.6 and then he will surgically castrate me.

Well it sounds like good news. December isn't that far away. So just try to be patient, I know it's hard, but you can do it after all you've been through.

Re: eunuch not anymore, sorry...
has been near a year before I decide to get a chemical castration using depo-provera. I started liking bthe efects, especially, when Erectile disfunction set in. The "lack" of libido and the drop of interest in sex was something partial, though I always looked for sex with my partner (this is weird, and I know it) the feeling of limpness was quite satisfying. In october 16, it´s going to be a year since my chemical castration. As a side note, the castration will be performed on my birthday. I am such a Lucky guy.
