I was one of the pioneer body piercers. I can state with absolute certainty that the is no such thing as a penile piercing that can delay or prevent erection. If a totally ham-handed clown were to somehow pierce and sever the main nerve in the penis, I suppose it could happen, but that would be almost impossible to do.

I do know of a couple of slaves who had been made to have Prince Albert piercings and also a guiche (a ring inserted behind the scrotum). These were then locked together which made an erection difficult and painful.

My brother is usually credited as the "Father of Modern Body Piercing." His mentor Doug Malloy (a pseudonym), published a pamplet of various piercing and their supposed histories. He claimed that the ancient Greeks and Romans used a tight foreskin piercing to prevent slaves copulating. http://runningthegauntlet-book.com/BME/ ... 315-p.html

While piercing is primarily done for erotic reasons, it has often been used to prohibit sexual indulgence — though to those of the bondage and discipline persuasion, even such restraint is no doubt erotic. When used for purposes of chastity it is commonly called infibulation, and both men and women have been its victims. Ancient Roman male slaves were often subjected to the practice, some form of device being locked through the perforated foreskin.

......

Piercing of the frenum, the loose piece of flesh beneath the penis head, is of European origin, having served, strange to say, the extremes of both chastity and sexual stimulation. A padlock through the frenum will prevent copulation. A special chastity device called a Franey cage, secured at one end through the frenum and at the other through a second piercing at the base of the penis, prevents even masturbation,

While these things can be evaded and orgasm achieved it is usually painful. For more on Doug Malloy, a fascinating man, see http://runningthegauntlet-book.com/BME/ ... 40315.html. It is a biographical article too long to quote here.

The weight was exquiset as it moved.

Apparently P.A.s are common amongst the Eunuch.org prescribers. Count me a former PA person...(PAP?) I stretched mine to an enormous 5/8 inch diameter...The ball ring I wore with it was very heavy , and eventually it broke loose and left me with the split head I have today...Now I sit to pee (and like it)...after I pull my pink panties down, of course...Hehe Jackie

There is a certain amount of evidence to show that the Romans did attempt to prevent erections in slaves.

The victims of this seem to have been pre-pubertal boys.

'Infibulation' which is often used as a synonym for genital piercing comes from 'fibula' which in roman time was a small broach or clasp.

Do not forget that most males in Roman times were uncircumcised so this will not work for someone without a foreskin.

Take a ring large enough to fit over the foreskin but smaller than the dimension of the penis. Pull the foreskin through until the ring is resting on the glans. Slightly above the ring make a piercing through the foreskin and pass a bar through it. The only thing left to do is to fix the bar to the ring ensuring that it cannot come off.

I have seen a passage in which it was suggested that the Romans soldered it together which could be accurate, but there is a very high risk of burns. However, they probably would not worry too much about any burns the slave would receive. In other passages it suggests that a copper or brass wire was passed through the foreskin and then formed into a ring encircling the foreskin.

The suggestion is that since the foreskin is unable to withdraw when the penis becomes erect the person infibulated will experience pain and do whatever is possible to stop the erections occurring.

The main problem, as far as I can see, is that it would be difficult to keep the glans clean.
