Just thought I'd check in again. I had another Trelstar LA shot a couple of weeks ago. T levels are still holding well below 100 ng/dl. Since I started the every 3 month injections thing have really improved for me mental health wise. I've been off of my bipolar meds for about 4 months now & haven't had an episode since I started taking shots! I'm also a little over 3 months out since my Gastric Bypass surgery. When I weighed in Monday I was very pleased with the results. Before you have your surgery they put you on a pretty strict diet for 4-6 weeks &since I started that diet I've lost a whopping 138 pounds! I'm right at 1/2 way to my ultimate goal!

One thing that I have noticed is that since I've started on the shots I'm quite a bit more emotional, which is to be expected. Sometimes that can be good & sometimes not so good. We had to send our 18 YO autistic son off for some therapy Sunday & that really tore me up. Knowing that I wouldn't be there to protect him, care for him, & help him was almost more then I could handle. But the flip side to that is I'm more attentive to the feelings & needs of my wife & children. I guess I'm not the hard a** I used to be!
