About 70 miles or so east of me comes this video. The road was so hot it buckled creating a ramp. Highway patrol put out signs but one driver didn't pay attention to them, nor saw the ramp. See what happens next (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOYEzvBVaG0)

Sounds like all were ok after this. The driver probably had to empty the pants. Someone doesn't need a drivers license either.

Considering the area where it is located, I am NOT surprised.

A decade ago, a mining company decided to "longwall" a mine out of existence on the east side of Washington PA along the path that interstate route 70 and 79 pass through the city.

They said it wouldn't harm the surface because it was so deep. (I don't remember the depth but it wasn't a shallow mine. It was a deep mine)

And then the "bump" appeared along route 70/79. More of a broad swale about 4 inches deep and two cars in length appeared on the highway and moved with the mine machine (or a day later). If you look at a map and see where merge of route 79 north and route 70 east -- on the EASTERN side of Washington PA to the washing PA line. That's the portion of road affected by the rather huge diagonal down-up up-side-down bump kept moving along the road

It was hazardous for Trucks, cars, vans, pickups, at 60 and 70 mph and lots of orange barrels and cones and signs went up.

I drove over it several times and it would swerve car if you didn't realize it was there.
