Quick Update

Sorry I haven't been on much lately. I've been swamped with activity in my "new life!" Just to bring anyone interested up to speed I had Gastric Bypass surgery in mid April of this year. So far through this process I've lost 109 pounds to date. Still have a long ways to go but so far ecstatic with the results! I also just took my third dose of long acting anti-androgen last week. Currently my endocrinologist has me on Trelstar LA every three months. Love it!
The huge weight loss I've had so far has way more then compensated for the energy loss due to low T. I was going to give the exact number on my T count but can't find where I put my lad work report. UGH! I do know that my T levels have been consistently holding way, way below 100 mg/dl for quite some time now. It sure is nice being free from the abnormal hypersexual drive that I had to deal with for years & years!
I guess that I should add that due mainly to my Gastric Bypass surgery I'm off of a ton of meds that was themselves really messing me up which is awesome! In addition thanks to the Trelstar & my super low T count I've been able to get off of my bipolar meds & I haven't had a bipolar episode since I went on long term T count reduction. As a side note here & a disclaimer DON'T GO OFF OF ANY OF YOUR PRESCRIBED MEDS WITHOUT TALKING TO YOUR DOCTOR FIRST! There's a right way & a wrong way to get off of psyc meds. Just stopping your meds on your own is the WRONG WAY!
If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask & I'll do my best to answer if I can. Even if I'm not on here on a regular basis replies here go to my email inbox so I can still respond.
Hope maybe this is encouragement for some! Have a great day!
