Why do you think people have urge for penectomy.

I have had this need for a long time and I really don't understand it. Deep down I am sure this is not what I want.

It's difficult to come up with one single reason why some of us want our penises cut off. Here are some various reasons why we want it done:

1) Sexual frustration. We're sexually frustrated and in our minds we believe, perhaps unconsciously, that this will end our frustration.

2) Underlying Gender Disorder. We might be male physically but have an underlying feminine identity and this feminine identity doesn't want a penis and that's why we have this desire. Most true transsexuals will state that having a penis just never felt right to them and getting rid of it was a necessity.

3) Sexual Excitement. Somehow having our penises cut off brings about a high level of sexual excitement. Why this occurs might be based on our upbringing, having a dominant female in our early lives, or it might be the result of some dominant sexual experience that grew in our minds, it's psychological, being controlled by or dominated by someone worked it's way into our psyche until it became a norm for us. If our penises could regrow, we would have our penises cut off repeatedly, but since we know that once it's cut off that's it, we resist the urge and fantasize about having it done. I remember one of my aunts telling me a story when I was very young about a boy who took his penis out in the winter and it froze and had to be removed. This was way before puberty, but I never forgot it, and this might have started or led to my desire.

4) Demonic. Someone postulated that the desire might be demonic, can't remember where I read this, but the thought was (if you believe in the nether world) that demons, fallen angels, might push men to cut their penises off because they themselves don't have penises, can't experience sexual satisfaction and therefore want men to be as they are.

5) Uselessness. Some men, who can no longer achieve erections, want it removed because it's useless and non-functioning.

These are some plausible reasons and some of us might have a combination of these, but I believe that if you have this desire it will grow and in the end most men with this desire will seek to fulfill it, and have their penises cut off. It might take another 10 or 15 years, but it will happen. I know that one day I will have it removed, I just don't know when.
