Tokyo transsexual, Mao Sugiyama, tweets back over testicle tasting party

A Tokyo man, who describes himself as “asexual”, auctioned off a meal last month offering up a bite-sized portion of himself to 5 lucky diners. The story is now making headlines after the man, Mao Sugiyama, began defending his actions on his personal Twitter page Wednesday.

According to Calorie Lab, which broke the story in the United States, Sugiyama is an illustrator who goes by the nickname “HC”. The report claims that in April, “HC” tweeted about an opportunity to share in a very rare delicacy. The fully translated version can be read below:

"[Please retweet] I am offering my male genitals (full penis, testes, scrotum) as a meal for 100,000 yen …Will prepare and cook as the buyer requests, at his chosen location."

As bizarre as it seems, “HC” actually followed through with his tweet, and had held the “Ham Cybele – Century Banquet” at a popular banquet hall in Tokyo. It was here that “HC” cooked the remains of his male genitalia in front of a live audience. He then, served the savory morsels to a group of people who paid the equivalent of $250 each to eat his man-parts.

Judging by his Twitter response, “HC” was apparently not harmed by the gender removal surgery. He has even responded to Calorie Labs several times, tweeting one-liners which come across as defensive pushback.

Loosely translated, “HC” replied in several tweets that proudly defend his stance on being asexual as well as his choice of corset.

It appears that Calorie Lab has struck a nerve with “HC” who posted photos of his cooked testicles on twitpic, proudly showcasing the sautéed version of his manhood for the world to see.

According to one report, one of the patrons who dined on the former manhood of “HC” created a blog chock full of photos from the interesting April night. He has since taken the photos and blog post down, leaving behind a short message which states:

I wrote an article on Sun May 11/14, so there was a misunderstanding and lack of consideration to the privacy of the facts, we have removed the relevant article.

Incidentally, “HC” was screened for disease before he had his genitals removed, to ensure that his 6-inches of manhood, scrotum and gonads were disease-free. Diners were required to sign a waiver releasing Sugiyama and the oranizers of the event from any liability arising from the consumption of human genitals.

The photos look realistic so maybe this isn't a hoax. If it's true then good luck to him for making money from the loss of his genitals. I'm disappointed that the diners found the meat rubbery and tasteless - I'd always imagined it would be tender and taste like chicken.
