The hardest part of burdizzo clamping was not the cord getting crushed it's self, but the scrotum getting crushed, the skin and it takes about a month to totally heal. I only felt some pressure on the spermatic cord, perhaps because I had a vasectomy 10 years ago and 1.5 inches of the vas differans was removed. Happy with the results but do not try to castrate yourself alone with the burdizzo, you can hurt yourself, an experienced Rancher or buddy who has used this on animals is your best bet.
