I don't know how we would ever get Gus and Antonia to come to the USA so maybe we would have to go to Germany. Or, perhaps Paris in the Spring...France, that is...

I think it would be a wonderful idea. Not to toot my own horn, but about two years ago I posted a story on that very subject called, "Dream Conference." I can’t get away as easily as I used to though. If it was held in some place like Dallas, I would try to make it. Probably couldn’t go to Europe (unless the stock market takes a HUGE surge upward - LOL!).

Anyhow, I would surely go to the convention if there were one. But due to the lack of popularity with this subject, I would think Modcon or BME would have to some how (legally ) be involved to draw masses and/or kinda soften the purpose of the convention itself.

Because of the negative views our society has, the purpose of the convention would probably have to be camoulflaged by something else. I feel horrible that would be needed.

Further more, masking might be working at cross puposes depending on the motivation of the event. Will it be to bring people together to share the beauty of our community? Or would it be to also heighten awareness, at which case, I think we'd be asking for trouble - see "Eunuch Awareness" thread's replies. A lot of you opened my eyes to the unfairness of it all.

All in all, if we just wanna have a pizza party at a hotel, celebrate some birthdays, have Kommel give a lecture, have Modcon show a movie, and then hit a club afterwards, hell where do I sign up?

What an incredible idea! I love it!!!! A convention of Eunuchs. Has an interesting ring, n'est-ce pas? I too would absolutely LOVE (platonically) to meet a number of guys/gals on this board. I would be pushing and shoving, trying to get to the front of the line to sign up.

Hmmmm... BME is out of Toronto, isn't it? Toronto is WONDERFUL in August and September.

Sorry, you will have to count me out. Due to a massive fraud by my investment broker, I am filing a Chaptetr 13 bankruptcy and will not be going anywhere the next 3-5 years.

Having said that, if any of you visit the Los Angeles area and want to meet me and take me out to dinner, fine, my e-mail is in every posting, so you know how to get in touch with me.

Toronto would be nice. But my August is all tied up.

Uh oh!:( I couldn't get the damned thing ta work right......guess it was too delicate........so I scrapped that one and am now finishing up the second one which is much simpler and sturdier

The first one if bumped on a hard object while being worn would tend to clamp down around the wrist............bad...........very bad:(
