Here's a medical video (NSFW) showing a new device for adult circumcision, I guess developed for African circumcision programs.

I'm a little confused as to why it is "painless", since most banding I've done cause a fair amount of discomfort and I'm a major masochist -- it seems like some guys would go crazy with that thing on.

I'm also not entirely impressed with the result. They only show 3 weeks post op and there is a major black scar ...

as to pain, you come across a simular thing with dentists. "you'll feel a pinch", basically pressure pain, which fades after a few seconds. of course, with constriction(i go cheap myself; use a shoelace[firmly] while i'm soft & then rise to the occasion) you get to feel the "pinch" a 2nd time when you release your ligature. delicious.
