Winter Solstice

Why does the Winter Solstice come too early?
I love sunset before 5 PM. Black dark nights by 6 PM.
Morning does not come too early too. But, that is all gonna change.
While we can, Happy Winter Solstice River and those who recognize its' significance.
May your Yule Log burn well past sunrise.

I can't wait, tomorrow, the shortest day of the year, the Druids biggest holiday, Dancing round the tree, the Yule log burning in the fire place.

tonight we will be drumming in winter
tomorrow will be 1 second longer than today..glad to be past shortest day

As a druid I love the winter solstice, Yule, the tree, everything that goes with it. Not to be confused with what the Christians took for their own.
