>>In the fevered nightmare of "Howard Stern to judge talent, yeah, right, sure, pigs can fly too" yes, he's coming back to TV in an effort to create even dumber followers and more ignorant viewers.
>>I can't decide if this is a sure sign of the death of all things cultural or simply the ghost of the long dead Newton Minnow haunting the world of TV. Or possibly the gladiatorial games of Rome without the entertainment value.
>>Howard Stern is the vulgar version of Donald Trump. Stern is wiling to to anything expose-like sexually demeaning and filthy, disgusting in public and he does it for money. So he's going to judge real talent?
>>Seriously folks, You've got to be kidding...

A little over a month ago, Piers Morgan announced he was giving up his role as judge on America’s Got Talent to focus more on his CNN talk show. A few days later, rumors began swirling that Howard Stern might replace him. Early Thursday morning, the move became official, as Stern announced the move on his SiriusXM radio show, also noting that America’s Got Talent will move its home base from Los Angeles to New York to accommodate him. NBC confirmed the move shortly thereafter in a statement:
“Howard Stern’s larger-than-life personality will bring a thrilling new dynamic to ‘America’s Got Talent’ starting this summer. He’s a proven innovator and his track record in broadcasting is truly remarkable. Howard is very passionate about this show and is fully committed to its future success.”
Hal Boedeker of the Orlando Sentinel, among the first to report the news, also noted that Stern’s longtime sidekick, Robin Quivers said on air that she hates America’s Got Talent, but will support Stern in his new endeavor.
