Chemical castration is not always effective; not everyone has money for a doctor; sometimes the sheer repulsivity of testicleez drives one to take up arms. The attention and infamy gained from a live streaming auto-castration might have been a driving factor. Or perhaps those people who do such things have loco motives in the membrane. I vote for the latter.

I would like to add not everyone can find a doctor willing to castrate.

4chan invented trolling. Personally i'd take anything from that site with a FISTFUL of salt.

Also... I hate to point this out, but in this case the person who was receiving the stream, recorded it and put it up on 4chan... it's really not a very nice thing to do, we don't know if the person in the video agreed to it or not. That's the sort of breach of privacy that derailed my life for the better part of a year, only to an even worse degree. Is it really right for some of you to be whacking off to a potentially disrespectful breach of trust and privacy? And further contribute to it by spreading the video capture around to more people?

No it was not like that. The Op opened a thread and announced to cut his balls of if the thread gets 150 replies. Then he streamed on livestream.com and apparently the site automatically captured the stream. It was the typical attentionwhoring although with much more severe consequences than usual.

Lol then well, much as I disapprove of such attentionwhoring and of actually giving the attentionwhore what he/she wants, it's entirely up to the rest of you to indulge his/her wishes.
