My keyboard was acting up tonight. The space bar was sticking. An annoying problem considering I type up lots of historical stuff every night.

I had planned on going to Wallmart and getting a new keyboard tomorrow as they're under $20.

Instead, I took the 15 screws out of my keyboard, and shook out all of the dust and tobacco.

Now my keyboard seems to work fine.

I remember one of my users called in a panic one day, said the 3 key was stuck. It was, I turned the key board and beat it on the desk for a bit, turned it back and left this huge mess on her desk and said, Quite eating over your key board.

Mac, that is a very common problem, they do make pads that sit over the key board for users like you.

That pads or any protection make typing somewhat difficult. I am never comfortable with them. However it it good idea to replace the keyboard.

It may be time to clean the coils behind your refrigerator too.

MacWolf has never gotten around to a frig, he still has the ICE man deliver Ice twice a week. He got it new and wants his moneys worth but you know how OLD guys are, He was old when he got it.

I remove the keys and clean my board every now and then.
