incontinence caused by castration?

In April I will hit the 2-year mark of my physical castration and am very happy over all. I am currently suffering from incontinence to the point of having damp briefs pretty much all day. I suffered from an extreme case of prostatitis about 6 months ago and don't know if that could be the cause. Everything seemed fine for about 4 months and now comes the incontinence. I am pretty sure that I am not experiencing prostatitis again and was wondering if any other surgical eunuchs have had this problem and if there was a resolution. I am also taking an assortment of other prescription medication along with non-prescription estrogen. I would go back to the doctor but even with insurance my medical bills are out of hand and I will be undergoing a spinal fusion on this month so that is another reason I haven't went back to the doctor. I consider my self-lucky to have good insurance and would hate to be without it, but it still is costing an arm and a leg. I will also have 3 months off from work to compound my finances. I have searched the internet and not really found any thing that might tie the two together. I mainly talks of prostrate surgery.Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks terry

I have been incont long before I am became a eunuch, but I dont recall hearing on here anything from anyone else about having that issue because they were a eunuch, so more likely still related to the prostatits. Also even though its not directly related i would mention it to the doc doing the spinal work it could be related to that as well.

good luck

Dave

It may have something to do with your prescripts. I just can't imagine anything else. I never had that problem.

I have not had a problem with incontinence since my castration, however, my flow is slow and not near as strong before castration. Testosterone seems to play a role in a more forceful flow for men. Sometimes I dribble for a short time and must wait an extra minute or two for it to stop. I have not heard of this problem for eunuchs except for those in India, but those in India have had their penises chopped off and that can cause incontinence as well as urinary infections. It can also cause blockages.

That's been my experience too.

Thanks for the replies I went to my GP and all he could come up with was a over active bladder so he prescribed oxybutynin 15mg ER and that seems to have done the trick. I remember in my younger years seeing commercials and hearing about other peoples ailments and thinking that only happens to old people. I guess I have arrived (47).

On another note I had my back surgery and all seems to be going well ( hope I didn't screw that up I was feeling pretty good so I went up in the attic to pull some wire and stepped on drywall instead of a rafter and fell thru the ceiling) I am suppose to be on a 15 pound weight restriction but haven't been able to stick to that. I guess wisdom doesn't always come with age.
