Advice Please!

Here's an update & questions. Since my last post I've seen my Primary Physician, Psychologist, & Psychiatrist and all three agree it was a bad mistake to start a T replacement seeing how bad it messed with my moods & bipolar. In the morning I'm calling my Endocrinologist that I see for my diabetes and with whom I've got a great report with to set an appointment to see what we can do to get my T-levels back down to a post castration level so I can keep my bipolar in check and get back to the fun loving guy that people enjoy being around instead of a raving lunatic that I was on the verge of becoming when we brought my T level back up.
1: I would guess that my endocrinologist would be the one to talk to about this, right?
2: Any suggestions to further my case with him?
BTW... My wife normally goes with me to these appointments. She is on some meds long term (life) that's killed her libido and she's all for me getting my T levels back down. She says I was MUCH more pleasent when my T levels were low (82 ng/dl about 3 moths ago).
Thanks!
BIG

I would go back to the doctor that put you on the medication and tell him or her what is happening to you. An endocrinologist is always another option and a second opinion may come from that visit. Ask your wife can go with you to help explain the situation. I am assuming the prescribing doctor will listen to you,and have an open mind.

Update: So far I've met with my Primary Doc, Psychiatrist, & Psychologist. All are in agreement that T & my Bipolar/Hypersexuality don't play weel together at all! Primary Doc told me to throw the T meds in the trash which I did before I talked to her. I was surprised by my Psychiatrist when he told me he's not a fan of T replacement therapy. He said it's dangerous to both your physical & mental health. Monday when my Endocrinologist is back in the office after the turkey break I'll call & get an appointment with him which should be right away as I can usually get in with him in a couple of days.
On a side note I should be having a scrotal ultrasound this week sometime to see if they can figure out why I'm still having chronic testicle pain on my left teste.
Ugh... Life was so much more pleasent without T.

I just got back from seeing my Endocrinologist. I was pleasantly surprised at the way he listened to me and didn't freak out. He also intently listened to my concerns and what the other doctors had to say. When I got through talking he answered all of my questions and gave me path to follow with a couple of options. He told me since I'm getting ready to go in for gastric bypass surgery in February that I can expect some pretty serious hormonal changes after the surgery when my rapid weight loss phase kicks in. His plan of action is to keep monitoring things while my T count stays below 100. After the surgery if my T levels start coming back up like they normally do & I start having manic/bipolar/hypersexuality problems again that then he will start me on Lupron.
Just curious... Has anyone ever used Lupron as a T blocker? If so, how did you do & how well did it work?

Just thought that I'd throw this one out there and see if I get any response.
I'm going to be seeing my endocrinologist again in the fairly near future. He's talking about putting me on Lupron. Has anyone here ever been on Lupron? Also, is anyone here that's going/gone the chemical route ever been under the supervision of a doctor and had your chemical castration drugs prescribed for you? If so, what were you prescribed?
Thanks!
