Every iphone 3S, 4, and 4S beware iOS 5.01
Simply do not update period!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is if you want to keep your phone unlocked (ability to use phone on different carriers)
and jail-broken and run unsigned code.
I fucked up my downgrade so i had no choice but to install the latest firmware.(yeah i bricked it in the process)
Where there's a way in there's a way out.
Im confident another exploit or SIM-card will appear on the market but like all hacks expect to fork out some cash.
Theres no way im settling for Rogers or AT&T.

I don't have an iPhone, however we have 4 iPods in our family. A couple of weeks ago I updated iTunes, and it made some of our music sound like it was echoing in a tin can. When I looked at each song affected they were were all mp3's. Then Thursday there was another update for iTunes that fixed all of my mp3's. So if you have this problem, check to see if you have the latest update to iTunes.

Then you got what you deserved. A useless piece of crap. The phone isn't yours, you stole it. You're a thief, plain and simple.
You act like you're a victim, and now you complain you have to wait for a "damn unlock sim chip" so you can keep using the property you stole.
You make me sick.

The SIM chip is a minor setback.
Technically it isn't stealing, more like finder's keeper's
But you are right in calling me an immature asshole.
I ain't ashamed of being cheap.
In fact I have no shame in admitting I'm an opportunist. When the chance is there take it.(be cautious!!!)
I'm sure you are aware we live in a dog eats dog society.Very distasteful ....you can't change that.
Since when did doing the right thing always have to perpetuate to a more positive outcome?......
Seems like someone can't deal with the constant disorder of the universe
Chaos theory is a bitch isn't it?
The irony....We have freedom to choose not free-will
When I'm trying I can be of service to help others.
But I choose not to that instantaneous moment in time(I knew quite well it could have cost me under wrong conditions)
Don't mistake me for a chronic troublemaker but rather I decided at that time to
commit a wrong.
PS = I'm sure it isn't really a crime if you took a lost item "wink"
There is a Big distinguishable difference between crime and wrong.
Also I can copy different cell id num.(open up phone and start jtagging it[im studying as a technologist in my 2rd yr]
and am very well aware of the "FindmyIphone" app)
I wouldn't take something without all points worth considering)
Im still not pro at what I do but soon I will be able to exploit devices at full end.
aka like geohot.
I love math.

You may want to talk to Brian Hogan about it 'not really being a crime'.
Generally, it's called 'misappropriation of lost property' or 'theft of lost property' and is classified a misdemeanor in many areas. So yeah, it's a crime.

Your certainty is not a legal defense; just an example of stupidity. Technically it is a crime. The legal principle is called "constructive trust." If you find something, you are legally obligated to make a bona fide attempt to return lost property to its rightful owner or surrender it to the police or lost and found. If after a statutory time, the rightful owner doesn't appear, then the authorities will give the finder the property with legal title, but if the finder conceals the property so that the rightful owner cannot recover it, it is theft. There are hundred of years of court decisions, all with this outcome.

you are an asshole, you just didn’t steal someone's phone, you stole their music, contacts, emails and photo's, which if they were on vacation maybe their only copies, and it’s not like you found it on the street, it was in a motel, the last guy to stay in that room was the one who lost his phone. The motel had his contact info.
And your enthusiasm about being able to soon take further advantage of the system just shows what kind of scum you are. Good thing I am not a moderator, you are not the kind of person we need here on the EA

you shouldnt really update alot of things anyway, most computer updates send private usage data back to the OS manufacturer, most smart cell phones now send private usage and non usage data back to the manufacturer most sat-nav's send private data back to not only the manufacturer but 3rd parties now also .... tomtom in the uk were recently caught for everytime you plug into your computer to "update" they were sending where youve been, what route you took and speeds you did to the police, who then used that information not to necisarily catch you, but to figure out the best places to plant their mobile speed traps whered theyd be most likely to catch people.
and they're all guilty, google, android (who are the same) apple, microsoft, and certain satnav brands
