How often does one need to "spread it around" before one can give to a forumnite that has previously been given some rep? I've been trying to rep some people for some exceedingly informative, insightful and enlightened posts but even after repping several other people I still can't rep them again. I've always wondered if you've given person Alpha rep, how many people do u have to rep inbetween before being able to rep Alpha again?

I do not know what the current version of VB has set up as default, which is likely where it is running. I will check on it.

I looked in the back room. none of the settings were changed in the transfer from VB 3.X to 4.X. One may only give reputation 7 times during a 24 hour period, and must give reputation to at least 5 different people before you can repeat with someone.
