It's possible that he was no where near it, and possible that he was in the thick of it. Turkey is a largish country who hates nursery rhymes. (supporting the Kurds is not their Whey)

Truly I do not believe you know of what you speak.

Over 80% of the Kurdish vote in Turkey goes to the national Conservative Party and not Kurdish parties. The previous PKK raid costs Turkey twenty some odd soldiers, the majority were ethnic Kurd, Turkish Citizens. Turkey is a multi ethnic society and the PKK is a mafia claiming legitimacy that is unfounded. Turkey's Kurds overwhelmingly reject the minority Kurd political efforts. They are as integrated as if in America.

It is true Turkey has the most jailed journalist of any nation. Some even members of Parliament. But, the rule is equally applied - don't argue with the government, be a good citizen of Turkey. NOT selective to Turkey's "Turks", Arabs, Jews (both kinds), Kurds, Christians, etc.

I e-mail our representative from Istanbul all the time. Often several a day.

I have pleaded with others here to help incite him to play with us more often not representing all of Turkey but, himself as a Turk citizen living in Istanbul. Y'all know I do. If you appreciate his comments, send him an e-mail via his Profile. Like clapping for Tinkerbell to live, hopefully he will frequent and comment more often then in the recent past.

Just now I have e-mailed him the links to the above comments. He is in Istanbul. The E'quake was on the other side of Turkey.

Making a joke when too many may believe the other message is gospel, is not a joke.

Next up, Eunuchorn's jokes on Obama's birth certificate. Get it?

You mean Obama has a birth certificate? Well, then. What is all of the fuss about? Here all of this time I thought that his great intelligence indicated that he was an Alien from the Planet Ork.

One thing is for sure. With brains like he has he ain't no stupid Republican at a Redneck Tea Party.

O.K., now I will shut up.

Except for one simple question...

Hi All,

yes yes I am here but I dont use my previous name. I am here as a new user

Firstly, thank you so much for all your kind considerations, I really got sentimental...

A quake with a magnitude of 7.2 hit one the rural parts of one of our eastern city called Van. Because especially the buildings are only concrete and old in rural parts som of them have collapsed especially the onces built before the quake building law.

Dead toll is expected to be close to 600 with injured one reaching around 1500.

I have never seen before such a national awares of fund raising and donation campaign before. The whole nation is pouring over the city for help both with private sector institutions and with Turkish Red Crescent the equivalent of Red Cross

For such donations and a wisely organization for donations twitter has helped alot. Not only within TR but we had prayers from all around the world especially from the regions where people knows what a quake is.

Istanbul is far away from that region but the whole nation as I said is racing for donations. You can see from the below link

http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/n.php? ... 2011-10-24

Once again thank you for all your kind considerations...

Last but not least "Dear Eunuchorn" I am not sure if you are a unicorn or only a corn but at times of such disasters, at least sending prayers will be more supportive than sending the hatred messages but I am not sure if you are eligible or adult enough to understand such a difference and I guess I am much more closer to you to the region...

Best wishes to all from Istanbul
