These are scenes after the tsunami, 3 months later and 6 months later.

I wonder if they have a FEMA?

Thank you for the link to these photos. I have been following the cleanup efforts in the Japanese newspapers, but had not found anything like these. It's quite amazing how much has been done so far. The Japanese news is mostly about how LITTLE has been accomplished so far and how little government support there has been.

in the first one, u gotta love how that one lone car seems to have been left there, but also seems to have been continously cleaned and washed over the 6 months. It's spotless even in the 3rd picture!

You don't see the truth.

This truth glows in the dark, or responds on a Geiger counter, leaves an image like light exposure on old fashioned photo film,

and is present in Japan's food supply.

What is the half life of the stuff? When half the glow goes away?

Longer then human civilization?

Moi

Just say no to Nuclear.

It only has to fail once. 📢

Yes Moi, the nuclear accident is tragic this was not about that, it was about the rest of Japan that is rebuilding, getting back to a life or order or did you miss that? I don't think anybody has forgotten about the Nuclear plants meltdown.

Did you know people are starting to move back into the Chernobyl? Wildlife has already reclaimed it, 25 years later. The time to stay out may not be as long as once thought.

The first disaster was the tsunami and it was larger than the nuclear disaster.

These photos show a fine job of cleanup and I presume no one will ever settle on those lands again.

Yup. I also know thyroid cancer in Ukraine has taken a sharp and predicted rise.

I have to agree with you, and just want to add how incredible I find these pictures.

It's absolutely amazing how far these places have come in the six months since the tsunami. I'm completely stunned by the amount of recovery that some of those pictures show.
