The Alabama Law on Immigration

The Alabama law on immigration is in the news, now I thought about putting this in the political section but decided it really belonged here.

OK as I see this, Alabama passed a law to get rid of its illegals, you know those Mexicans who travel around the country from farm to farm picking produce. So with this new law those Mexicans have moved out of Alabama leaving those farmers to pick their own crops, no American even one out of work will do stoop labor, and at the price the farmer can and will pay there is not a chance in hell any American will do this kind of work.

So here is why I put it here in this section and not in the political.

Farmers have been republicans forever, as a voting block farmers are very conservative and always have been, so here we have the republicans in Alabama cleaning out the Mexicans and leaving the republican farmers to pick their own crops.

In Math this would be called Cause and Effect.

But when dealing with the human condition its called

Cutting off your nose to spite your face.

So my question is simple, to the farmers of Alabama, how is this new law working out for you? 😄

Yes, they can't find enough people to pick their crops because the migrant workers are scared.

And for some reason there isn't a flood of American citizens from other states eager to perform stoop labor for minimum wage.

Gee, I don't know why that is...

Rather than the hidden hand of the market or capitalism, I think it is the fickle finger of fate.
