I'm mtf full time since mid 90's. I'm married. About the time I started to transition I let my wife know about my desire for castration. It's come up several times and each time things seem a little better. I brought up the topic a few nights ago and that I was going to schedule my orchiectomy after the first of the year. She was or at least she seemed OK with it. As a matter of fact, she has seemed rather more cheerful than usual since that talk the other night and it has really lifted my spirits.

I've been chemically castrated for years and have gone through periods of incontinence, but right now that isn't a problem. This is something I've longed for for decades.
