judicial castration

Does anyone fantasize about being forced to submit to libido reduction / chemical castration, as well as having to undergo penile plethysmography checkups to monitor sexual function. The idea of judicial castration is such an interesting theme because it forces the one receiving the drugs to feel the loss of his sex drive against his desire and against his will. Does anyone know of any available stories about this, or have information to share about actual judicial castration?

The only criminals that are chemically castrated by the US government are rapists and/or pedophiles. It is debatable whether or not castration prevents these men from repeating their crimes after early release.

There were racist laws that required this before and perhaps during the Civil War. perhaps someone who is a better researcher than me could look into it.

Judicial castration is written and talked about a great deal today, though it is quite rare, even in those few places where it is practiced. It was much more common in the past than today. It was also sometimes used for crimes that were non-sexual in nature. The last case that I can find record of in San Diego County (California) was of a teenage arsonist who burned down an (unoccupied) chicken coop in the 1970s.

There are a number of books and articles about judicial castration listed in the Bibliography that is posted on the Non-Fiction Board.

North Carolina and many other southern states used to sterilize people forcibly on the grounds that

they were "feeble-minded" or likely to produce (if allowed) children who would be (basically) dependent

on the state and a burden on the taxpayers. North Carolina in particular is in the process of trying

to provide redress to some of these people. Most of them were black women but some white men

also ran afoul of the eugenics board:
