Separation Anxiety

Despite the recent problems accessing the Fiction Archive, I was able, for a limited time, to do some browsing.

One of the stories I read was a wonderful one called Separation Anxiety (http://www.eunuch.org/Alpha/S/ea_175709separati.htm)

It came out over a year ago, but I had somehow missed reading it.

I just wanted to post a note here about how much I appreciated the story. Though it had a very sci-fi explanation, I found the writing very believable and realistic. Nothing in the story seemed forced.

I was a little disappointed when the story ended after just 9 chapters. I think that Caultron may have had more to tell. I hope Caultron decides to return and continue the story.

I would have loved an explanation for the pheromone effect some of the "flat" boys experienced. I would have loved to see Troy figure out what to do with his new found powers. I would have loved a discovery about why it was happening, or what the overall purpose might be.

Either way I had to post my appreciation here. It was a wonderfully crafted story.
