This morning I clicked on an image in Google Images and immediately it was obvious that it was the conduit for malaware/spyware. I instantly turned the wireless and the computer off. It appears no damage.

This is the second time this has happened with Google Images.

It happened to me too awhile back. It seems that this is an incessant bogus virus alert that asks you to pay for an anti-virus program to stop the "virus" attack. It took me some time to get rid of it without paying their blackmail. I haven't gone back to Google Images since.

Yes, this has become a new attack vector for malware and spammers. It's become especially prevalent in the last month of so. I'm surprised Google hasn't started filtering these @#$%^&*?! things, yet.

Does anyone experience this with Firefox with NoScript?

I find this system adequate security. I have had back up scans and nothing has ever gotten though the browser security in Firefox with NoScript.

Thanks.
