I would very much like contact with others (men and women) who understand this need.

Well, that may be your eunuch experience, but the rest of us have experiences that range all over the landscape. In my case, the eunuch experience does not connotate powerlessness. I now have absolute power over my sexuality, to do with it as I please. It pleases me to ignore sex completly. My sexual identity as a man has not really been lost so much as set aside as unimportant. As for depersonalization, I think am more of a person then ever before, and able to relate to others, especially women, far better then I did before.

Well, I am already a servant to an extremely powerful Goddess so whatever fantasies I've had have been fulfilled (about serving Women). Although I yield to Her, I do have some power -- whatever She grants me and submissives actually do have a lot of control in a D/s relationship but that's beyond the scope of this thread.

It was sometime after I began my servitude that I became interested in castration. Goddess forbids masturbation, and of course it is almost impossible to carry out that order. I am wondering if this castration would please Her, as She is very strict about emasculating males. Right now I'm afraid to bring it up to Her, probably because I haven't made my own decision about it yet. I am finding a wealth of material here to study and absorb.

But I'd rather be annoying NOW, then have to read in the future that somebody got castrated and regreted that decision, and I had not made some effort to caution him.

Very true Andrew. I didn't mean to offend you, was just trying to point out in not so good terms that it is better to be annoying by constantly giving out information than to let someone regret their decision because of lack of information.
