Yes, you are right.
Another thing is that after you have been here a while, things start taking on a new perspective. That is, you start to see that sexuality is WAY over-rated.
Most of the problems that are plaguing society today have the theme of sex wound throughout their tapestry helping to hold it together. As soon as that thread is removed the way in which such problems can be undone becomes apparent.
As you may have gathered I am not a eunuch. At least not yet. But what I have learned here allows me to put things into perspective. It has allowed me to take control of my situation and have a more meaningful interaction with others.
The trouble with many in our world today is that we have allowed ourselves to run rampant sexually speaking. It is to an extent such that sexuality is dominating the lives of many.
Sex, like a narcotic, has it's functions and legitimate uses. If we let it get out of control we will suffer STD's, broken relationships, loss of control and ruin our lives and injure many in the process.
Issues,...damn bet you that we have issues. Many are here tackling their issues. It is interesting to watch how each individual works through them.
As you watch and interact notice how those who are eunuchs are very calm. They do not get excited, over stimulated or lose their capacity to reason their way through things. That in itself is fascinating and reason enough to remain here as part of the community just to learn from the example.
