Hi everyone. i love reading and learning on here, however Im going to try to castrate myself on friday with a small burdizzo. ill let you all know how it works out lol, anyway here is my problem I have bottles of lidocaine hcl 1% but how much should I inject into the spermatic cord and what size needle would work best. would be nice not to have to feel this but i will endure the pain if need be after all just like a tattoo its a sort of right of passage lol.

Here is what I will be using it can be used one hand and is suppose to work just as well as the larger ones.. i feel with one handed I would have more control over it. let me know what you think besides its really cheap as well but very sturdy made. and only needs to be used twice for its lifetime anyway lol

I wouldn't recommend the burdizzo just based on the failure rates and the damage to the scrotum.

If you take your time. and make sure its done thoroughly it should be ok. and the only damage to the scrotum i heard about is the line the burdizzo makes but that will heal eventually anyway is there more to this i am missing?

Maybe I will offend you with my answer. allthough I do not want to be rude.

You have 4 possible outcomes with a likelyhood of

1. 90%: you will stop during the operation due to pain, trembling, fear, ...before you even could set the burdizzo well in place.

2. 9% you will hurt yourself very much and your testicles will not be damaged at all, as they endure much more than you think.

3. 0.9%: You will hurt yourself that much, you will want to seek medical attention with lots of problems. Doctors will repair the damage. You will not be castrated. You will have a very embarrassing experience, doctors will send you to psychiatry ...

4. 0.0001% You will succeed. Then you will forward osteoporosis, depression, diabetes ...

I'm sorry to be that negative about this, but I strongely advise you to do some research. Then you will see a temporary chemical castration is a relly good possibility. You will also see a little error in your profile ("casterate" ~> "castrate")

A burdizzo is a good tool for castrating animals, a great device for intimidating a recalcitrant subject but not a real effective device for castrating a human male- willing or unwilling. It will absolutely give a crushing injury to your scrotum and whatever else you have positioned in the jaws but is unlikely to kill off your testicles. It is hard to do yourself so the choice of a smaller one is good as its easier to maneuver and position. The injury will be like most crushing injuries with bruising that will get worse for a couple days before things start improving. Absolutely have ice on it for maybe 24 hours initially to minimize bruising. A properly functioning burdizzo will leave scars, both on the front and rear of the scrotum. These will fade and be almost unnoticeable in time, while the testicles will remain plainly visible.

I won't say don't do it but I will say that other than for entertainment value, I think you will likely be disappointed in the end result with or without anesthetic.

For one who indicates that he has studied and learned his subject, you show surprisingly short supply of it or you wouldn't even be attempting this method. Go study some more, please.

The one true tested 100% effective method is to have your DR do the job. OH MY, now I went and did it.

doctors use 10 ml of lidocaine to do vasectomy...i have talked to a few guys that had a vasectomy then laid a burdizzo over the scrotum after the vasectomy

they had a motel room prepped close to the place where the vasectomy was done

no pain was the result

important thing about the burdizzo is to keep it closed 10 minutes or more
