3 month check up, T levels up.

Just wanted to keep everyone updated on my journey. Had my 3 month checkup with my doc last week and had blood work done. I have been taking 50mg of Androcur daily since Jan 20th. (started out on 100mg daily for 20 days) The current blood tests show my T levels at 300. This is down from the 750 I started at but up considerably from 60 after month one. (Normal ranges per my doc are 200-800.) I have had the feeling that my T levels were up but hoped they were lower than 300.
The wife and I have had a few fights lately about intimacy and I told my doc I want to go up to 100 mg per day to see if I can get my T levels down further. He was not too thrilled but said as long as my body can tolerate it, he will back me. So far all of my other blood tests have shown the Androcur is not affecting my liver and all other blood tests are good. The wife and I had a long talk last night and I asked her on a scale of 1 to 10 where would she like my libido to be. She thought about it and we talked more and she finally said ZERO. I was a bit taken back by this but I can totally understand her point on the topic. She has practically no interest in sex and intercourse is physically painful for her so she has no use for an erect penis. I am hoping I can get my Libido under control with the higher dose but am concerned that Androcur alone will not do it.
I will have another check up in July so here's hoping 100mg of Androcur will kill off my libido and not kill off me.
I know that not many men can understand why I am doing this but I dearly love my wife and we have 2 great boys ages 6 and 8. If I can't get my libido under control I am afraid our marriage is doomed and divorce is simply not an option. We are a great team, we have lots of fun together and I believe that I can live a sexless life and still be very happy.
Thanks again for all the support this group gives me I really like to be able to vent and get feedback from others like myself.
Later, Hoosierdad.
