Very nice. Too bad most people probably won't know who the majority of the people in the photos are.

There was a lot of history in there. The Queen of England, several US presidents, Kruschev, young Jack Nicholson, among many others.

Absolutely awesome PPT - Slammr, did you put it together? I could use this as a teaching tool in my classroom. It reminds me of "We didn't start the fire" by Billy Joel.

No. I have a friend that emails these to me. I have no idea where he gets them all.

Sadly, one of the items in the pictures was destroyed in 2001 just before 9/11. The statues/carvings in the mountain from one of the photos were destroyed by the Taliban due to their view that they were offensive to Islam (idols/false images).

The statues had been carved into that mountain 5000 years before. Yes, 5000 years. The Taliban would not let the world heritage foundation come in to remove them and then used them as target practice.

Shameful. Destroying important pieces of human history for political or religious views.

Slide 9. Fly Caribbean Airlines if you are going where they are going. Your personal space gets to be like this photo. In coach I had to slouch way way down in the seat and stretch my legs forward as much as possible to touch my toes on the seat in front.

I love the picture of Bogart looking at Marilyn Monroe's breasts with his wife, Lauren Bacall, sitting beside him.
