Broken National Trust, like Virginity

Do you remember the first time you did not believe your government?
That national trust broken like virginity.
Never the same after.
For me it was before VietNam when I refused to believe the Russians, Chinese, and all the other "Red" areas were not one big happy Communist brotherhood as George Kennon pablumized.
Not all the other national acts of betrayal, but your first.

I'm not sure I ever thought they were telling us all the truth.
The government has used spin and manipulation all my life to try
to influence my thoughts about things.
Just name a decade and you can find a case. did anyone ever think Nixon was honest? do the people who support Palin think she is actually capable?
Are we gonna solve the oil import problem ?

Perhaps it's incipient senility, but I can't remember a time I truly believed any government, including our own. I grew up in the local library, read Will Durant's History of Civilization series for bedtime reading, decided I was an existentialist in Junior High, devoured Sartre and Camus. Plus Civil Rights and Vietnam were recent history. That didn't lend itself to great confidence in government.

I was 11 when the Army-McCarthy hearings were broadcast on national television. I had my first semi-girlfriend. She lived about a half mile up the road and we had graduated from being merely playmates (she was the only other person close to my age within over a mile), but were just beginning to explore our changing bodies. Her mother was absolutely glued to the television every time I visited three days a week or more. After watching just a little bit of what Dianes mother knew to be proof of the communist infiltration of American life, I knew that Senator McCarthy was a fraud. I havent fully believed authority since.

I think I suspected it in the 1960 election but by 1964 I was sure, then I had the great fortune to have a US Government class.
We walked in the first day of school in September 1964, and the teacher was kinda short and a bit dumpy with thick glasses that were tinted blue, the bell rang and he said,"Hello, my name is Mr. Katz, I am Jewish, I am a democrat, lets argue'. Best teacher I ever had, and by the end of the semester I knew why I did not trust government.

...interesting comparison to virginity...
...another psychologically manufactured, false belief like "TRUST YOUR GOVERNMENT"...
...I feel that like virginity this is a FARCE to control and to psychologically dominate. It is USED to control SEXUALITY... (the uncontrollable, I mean, unless you get you-know-whatted and then you still have not controlled it...you have just contained the physical part of it and not the psychological part... )
How can one "LOSE" something that they never had in the first place? I mean, unless you want to morn losing a LIE and GAINING THE TRUTH.
moi, not a time to morn...but instead a time to PARTY and REJOICE!
moi should not WASTE PARTY TIME... PARTY!!! You lost a LIE and GAINED the TRUTH...
:headphone
party, moi, party!

When one looses their virginity, it is a moment of personal consciousness changes.
Regretfully besides dropping colors, fonts & icons - -
Some would have me drop litarary flourishes as to hyjack the thought over,
virginity.
At long last Moi harassers and thread hijackers, have you no shame or you honestly do not get the first experience with loss of faith in one's government with a loss of a sort of virginity. I can dumb it down it the future if necessary.
Just tell me what YOU want as to deserve respectful responses. Ok?
No self serving excuses here would be as insightful as topic respectful uploads.

But did you EVER believe in your government?
no. moi, I remember the JFK assassination. I did NOT believe their "manufactured" explanation as a GRADE SCHOOL-ER... that is where I lost MY "faith" in government... right after the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, etc., etc...
Regardless, their explanation MAKES NO SENSE... bullets DO NOT and CANNOT pass through TWO BODIES, shatter the radius of an adult wrist, embed into the upper quadriceps muscle and then just DROP onto a hospital gurney where they are FOUND BY A GOVERNMENT AGENT... with only a slight deformity and only a few grains of material missing from them... There was enough metal fragments in the wrist of Governor Connolly of Texas to make that impossible.
Neither does a person have virginity. (Untouched except by the hand of GOD). If you are talking about never having been penetrated say it. It is NOT the same concept as virginity...
I will say it again. Virginity is a FAIRY TALE used to control sexuality... IT DOES NOT WORK except in the very, very, sexually repressed who is very, very gullible...or, perhaps the very child-like who matures all of a sudden...
