I was watching a "Friends" rerun last night, and Rachel said a quote that turned me on. The episode had Phoebe and Rachel going to a women's self-defence class. When they return, Rachel says:

"Whew! Kicking a guy in the crotch for five hours can really take a lot out of you."

Poor guy.

I've always thought it would be fun to be one of those guys in the women's self-defence classes that they practice on. Just don't wear your cup and you've got free ball-busting!

I could last that long. I have actually done that before. Some Women's self defense classes don't like having their ladies bruising their feet and hands on a hard cup between a guy's legs so some classes advertise for guys who can take several full power hits to the groin. These classes usually are the more hardcore ones and they usually want their ladies to do groin grabs so they can see just how much pressure and in what direction to apply it to cause enough pain

I think women need to be very careful with the groin kick -- because it might not work.

First of all, some guys -- like me and lonepanther -- like it. We would not really be incapacitated sufficiently to stop an attack.

Secondly, a guy planning to attack a woman might wear a cup. Or he might use the samurai trick of taping up his testicles so that they are protected inside the inagural canal. I can't speak for eunuchs, but would expect that a kick in the groin for them would be like a kick anywhere else on their body. It might hurt, but wouldn't cause incapacitation.

Allison, it would depend on your aim, your ability to kick hard and how pointy toed your shoes are. Did you ever see the "007" James Bond movie where the old lady had a switch blade built into the toe of her shoe? Anyway, you wouldn't have to worry about "bringing down" a Eunuch since he would have "been down" to begin with...
