Desire for castration; High T vs Low T

What I am looking for here is men who had normal or high testosterone level and had an obsession, craving, desire to be castrated and who then did NOT obtain castration, but for any reason experienced a long term very low testosterone level (temporary or permanent).
After your testosterone level was eliminated or very minimal, did you still have an overpowering craving to be castrated.?
My experience has been than once, when using Siterone, my craving to be castrated became minimal. And now that my testosterone level is permanently low (46 at last test) I am very disinterested in being castrated. In fact, at least for now, as it is a new experience, it is very interesting having very firm balls that feel as if they are artificial (they have no sensitivity to touch or pain). But if a need for medical castration would arise, I would look upon this favorably.
Just wondering if it was the testosterone that wacked my body and brain into craving castration (which, until now, was a lifelong affliction - since puberty).

I have experienced various levels of T, as my ball do not produce enough T since several years now. I do receive 250mg Testosterone per week now lifting titer to the upper normal range.
Through all these times my desire for castration has not changed. I have this since puberty and do not believe that it will ever go away again.
Actually, what I experienced at low T levels were effects in mood, but not in libido. However, sex performance was not as satisfying. With that tradeoff I'd rather prefer no T at all resulting in zero libido than having a sex drive but no satisfaction.
To me, it's a question of time, when I will do the next step...

This could be a very interesting post,Here is a problem that a lot of men have as we get older. The great enlarged prostate. Some men at 65 plus have many problems. To the point of the great Roto Rooter job, which leaves you with a let of PAIN, WET PANTS and you name it. If doctors would get off the wagon and start looking for other ideas, like lowering ones testostrone level, the prostate should get smaller. As I see it, if a man 70 years old wants to get his level down. He should be able to have that done. As in my case I have lowered my level with herbs, But to get it lower I have to use the doctor, AND HE will NOOOOOT do that. At the age of 70 a man is not going to have KIDS or do not want any. As for sex who cares. I know that I have lowered my level about 100 points, over a two year period, and that has worked very well. Sleep better, sleep most of the night without getting up. The doctor got a little pissed when I asked him about lowering the level and working on the prostate to get it smaller, Most doctors do not want to go there. BECAUSE that will not make as much money from the insurance companies, IT IS ALL ABOUT THE F__KING DOLLAR.
That is my rant for the day

I think the control over the desire for sex or castration comes from the brain as I always had a strong desire for sex while at normal level of T and also at my recent castrate levels of T. I find that the ability for the body to react to the brain's signals are very much related to level of T. In other words, I still want what I used to-(sex) but am having more difficulty in actually achieving the desired results due to the low T. and even with TRT have been unable to completely regain what was lost over an unknown period of several years. I used to think that castrating a sex offender, which I am not, would make them "safe" and that they would no longer be a threat to society but after experiencing T = 32 levels, I realize that I still "want" sex so much that it just increases my desires. The mind is willing but the flesh is weak. I would guess that the same might be true with an obsession for castration. When one's sex organs are unable to function properly for an extended period of time, I believe that they atrophy, hopefully only temporarily, but permanent damage can happen. Penis's and testes shrink and become less responsive to stimulation resulting in loss of function. I doubt if I will ever, in the immediate future, be plagued with premature ejaculation for instance. That is why I am very frustrated with my situation and encourage extreme caution in taking irreversible actions only to suffer from a mind wanting what a body can't give you. If a castration obsession provides a sexual fantasy, it should be left that, a fantasy, as there will be nothing to enjoy your fantasy with after the irreversible act is done. If you go thru with it, it is very likely that your body will experience the "eunuch calm" but your mind may well not resulting in extreme frustration and severe depression. That's not very nice.

There is a similar situation among trans folk considering transition. Some, those I refer to as libido driven transitioners, are motivated to change their sex by their libido, (as opposed to others driven by a trans identity.) Then when they began to take blockers and estrogen, their libido disappears, and they lose the desire to transition. They then revert to a male identity and stop taking blockers and hormones. When they do this their libido returns and they start wanting to transition again, and the cycle starts over. I know one who has in the last ten years gone on and off hormones at least six times and has paid for legal name changes four times. It is expensive, hard on the body, and has pretty much kept him (her) from holding a job for any length of time, (which might have been part of the plan)

Yes, that has been my experience also. Testosterone can be addicting. Testosterone affects the brain in a subtle way, changing your thinking. No T = no more sexual thoughts or urges, including castration.

That was the case with me as well, years of self abuse until castrated, even when I was on a castration drug I still had those desires it was not until I was castrated that it finally ended. Finally I have piece of mind and no T. I have never been happier in my life.

Same with me. Once I started down this path, there was no turning back until I was testicle-free.
