Coming off Cyproterone (Siterone)

Hi,

I started my first of three trials with Siterone (1 month at 100 mg/day, then dropping to 50 mg/day as a maintenance dose) and an estroderm 100 patch in March of last year.

There was about a month gap between each trial so I never recovered any real function.

However, it is now 3 months since I stopped and the effects still continue (a mix of dry or very low volume orgasms, difficultly getting erections etc.).

How long before the effects wear off and will the breast development go away?

I don't really mind if I've done permanent damage. I only stopped because of concerns over the side effects of the drugs.

Breast development it depends if you developed breast tissue or it's just fat. If you have breast tissue it stays unless cut out. Fat you just have to lose some weight.

Now during each trail your testicles did get smaller each time, at some point the atrophy does become non-recoverable and it is one of those things were your mileage does very greatly. I would say if you wish a full recovery you will have to take something to try to kick start you testicles into hormone producing and even it may not work.

I would say you chances to recover function without HRT is very small, along with the breast size decreasing as you did take estrogen which will does femization.

Thanks for that.

It confirms what I suspect is going on.

Still, I knew what I was doing when I started and the risks, so no regrets!
